Game 4 was played Tuesday night in Port Burwell and the Vics were determined to end the series on this opportunity. A second inning solo bomb by Tyler Hoshal off big Vics righty Brad Thomson put the Lakers in front early but Ayr would counter with a four run third. Sherk, Hearn, Thomson, Gillow and Scott all singled in the frame to give the Vics the advantage. Thomson set the Lakers down in the third and then Ayr broke the game open in the top of the fourth off reliever Kevin Schneider. Sherk scored on a two run tater by Clement then Thomson trotted home as Bob Gillow bounced one off the top of the right field fence for another homer. Graham Scott then closed out the inning with a solo jack to give the Vics a 9-1 lead. With a mercy finish at stake the Lakers refused to give up and strung together three singles to plate a pair of runs and keep the game alive. That would be the end of the scoring for the night as both teams went quietly in the final two frames.

Although the Vics held the advantage from the end of the first game on this was a hard fought series and the Lakers battled to the end with a very short bench.
